Does a bail bondsman have rights to keep posted bond if case is exonerated?
My bail posting was at $20,000 and the bondsman charges me 10%. My was case dismissed. My question is, does the bondsman have the right to keep all of the $2000?

Sorry, but yes. That was his fee for posting the bond. Think of it as an insurance premium for an accident that didn't happen.

Yesterday I received a subpoena to appear before a Grand Jury. I would like to have a lawyer with me when I go. Is this allowed? Or could I have a lawyer appear for me?

I am making regular monthly payments on the my bail bond. But my bondsman is now requesting a higher monthly amount than I can pay. Can he have my bail revoked if I am making payments as scheduled?
