What can I do about a ticket for possession of marijuana if I had a valid marijuana card at the time I got the ticket but did not have it with me?

I am only 19 years old, no prior record, and want to know if this ticket will be dismissed when I go to court and show proof of my medical marijuana card.

It depends on what state you are in. In Arizona, if the prosecutor does not dismiss the charge, your attorney can file a Motion to Dismiss and the judge can dismiss the charge without going to a trial.

Ditto Scott. If it is California, you will get it dismissed at arraignment, most likely, but clearly at the next stage.
